What is the process for getting dental veneers?

Advanced imaging allows your dentist to learn more about your teeth and bone tissue. If you have untreated dental decay or gum disease, you and your dentist should resolve those issues prior to moving forward with dental veneers. 

On the next visit, your dentist removes a small volume of natural tooth tissue to make room for the veneers. Impressions are made to determine the exact size and shape of your teeth and 

are sent to the lab where your custom veneers are fabricated. 

Temporary veneers are applied to protect your teeth until the new veneers are ready. When they arrive from the lab, you’ll return to have them checked for fit and appearance before being cemented into place. This completes the treatment process, and you’ll walk out with your new smile ready to share with the world.
